The second single from french producer Kumo is a warm lofi beat with a mix of acoustic and synth elements. The synth sounds were recorded on a DX7, an iconic synthesiser from the 80s, giving it that retro feel. “By Night” was recorded in early 2023 and took over a year to reach its final version. It is inspired by jazz fusion and electro with hip-hop drums. #CLOUDS070 depicts city streets in a nocturnal, contemplative mood.
