Moving more and more away from the traditional ‘lofi’ sound is this latest outing by the Swedish producer dream emulator called ‘Thought Loops’. The track has been built around the acid bass sound which is inspired by the bassline from Chameleon by Herbie Hancock. Later on, more elements and variations were added with Joel reveiling it’s his favorite way of creating a track which probably has to do with his background as a bassplayer. Already last year, a first version of ‘Thought Loops’ was doing rounds in DJ sets of its creator resulting in a good reception from the audience. As it’s part of dream emulator’s upcoming EP dropping October 20th, the project was revisited and improved to its final form.
